Sumit Nalawade grew up in Mumbai (Bhayander) as a competitive snowboarder. However, at the age of 11, he discovered a newfound interest in hip hop dance.

His journey into the world of dance began by joining dance classes by Jay sir , studying music videos, and participating in online workshops gave him more interest in dancing. This dedication and passion eventually led him to audition for a local dance crew, Dance Deewane.

Sumit's story is a unique blend of diverse interests, transitioning from the thrill of competitive snowboarding to the expressive world of hip hop dance.

As he delved into the dance culture, he actively sought learning opportunities through classes and online platforms.

His journey took a significant turn when he received an invitation to audition for Dance Deewane, a local dance crew.
